Nissan's legendary GT-R nameplate dates back to the four-door Skyline 2000 GT-R of 1969 which, like subsequent generations including the current R35 series of Nissan GT-R two-door sports coupe, delivered plentiful six-cylinder power resulting in success in the sales yard as well as the racetrack. Offering more bang for bucks than most modern rivals, the Nissan GT-R R35 arrived in Australian in 2008 with potent 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine and sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. A sizzling NISMO GT-R supercar version is also available for double the price of the standard GT-R.
