The G-Wagen (short for Geländewagen, "terrain vehicle"), is a mid-size four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured and sold by Mercedes-Benz. 

The G-Wagen is characterised by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature.

Despite the introduction of an intended replacement, the unibody SUV Mercedes-Benz GL-Class in 2006, the G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest-produced vehicles in Daimler's history, with a span of 41 years.

This particular G300 (300GE) is a very rare Right Hand Drive (RHD) Short Wheel Base (SWB) Gelanderwagen that was first delivered to Japan.  Fitted with a 3.0L Inline 6 cylinder producing 125kW @ 5700rpm and a 4 speed automatic with High and Low Range and three differentials. Interior condition is very good with a wear mark on the driver's seat base, but otherwise good patina for it's age. Professional repainted Matte Black by the previous owner, the car was originally delivered new in Red Metallic.
