1992 Mazda Eunos Cosmo 20B Three-Rotor Twin-Turbo

In the late 1980s Japan's ecconomy was booming and Mazda set their sights on designing a no-expense spared, world beating luxury Grand Tourer - the Eunos Cosmo. In 1990 Mazda would debut their luxury flagship with a number of world firsts. The first vehicle to be fitted with a Sequential Twin-Turbo charging system in the 13B and 20B models. The first vehicle to be fitted with a GPS navigation system and the first and only vehicle to ever be fitted with a Three-rotor rotary engine - the legendary 20B-REW.

The Eunos Cosmo 2+2 Coupe is a world class Luxury GT with the finest finishes, futuristic design and was loaded with luxury ammenities. Mazda's philosophy of 'the heart of a sports car' is present through the smooth and powerful, high reving rotary engine which saves considerable weight and allows for a very balanced weight distribution and overall lightweight. Driving is both comfortable and engaging.

This particular Eunos Cosmo is fitted with the 20B Triple-Rotor Twin-Turbo engine and finished in Passion Rose Mica (red Metallic) and Gun-Metal grey two-tone. 18" BBS LeMans wheels are period correct but an after sale fitment.

Only 8,875 Eunos Cosmo were produced and sold exclusively in Japan. Around 40% of production was of the more expensive 20B engine model. Through strong demand for the 20B engine in engine swap projects for Motorsport and RX-7 conversions, many Eunos Cosmos have been recycled. Today the 20B powered Eunos Cosmo is a rarity and is sure to be a future collectible.
